Drug arrests and mutual funds typically don't make the same news story. But this week they did. A former assistant vice president at U.S. Boston Capital has been
implicated in a drug ring.
Jon Tejeda stands accused of acting as a "distributor" in the drug ring, which police say was run by Juan "White Boy" Guzman, according to the
Boston Herald.
Tejeda's name no longer appears on the U.S. Boston website listing key executives, but a
cached version of the site lists him as having been an AVP in Institutional Distribution, specifically mentioning the
Pear Tree Funds [
profile] in his title.
The cached-site lists him as having graduated from Amherst College, the same college the
Herald notes that Tejada attended.
