With the Pimco [profile] Total Return ETF performing well, Morningstar took a look at how the ETF compares to its more famous, traditional mutual fund sibling.

Morningstar says the ETF performs like "Bill Gross's 'best ideas' list."

Morningstar writer Timothy Strauts notes that he would not be surprised to see Pimco continue to move into the ETF market.
