Deborah Fuhr, the ex-
BlackRock global head of ETF research, is launching her own consulting firm in London. Fuhr has been covering the ETF industry since 1997, when the young niche boasted only 21 ETFs holding $21 billion, compared to more than $1 trillion today.
The
Citywire,
ETF Trends,
Financial News,
Financial Times,
Global Investor Magazine and
Reuters both reported on the news.
Fuhr said, "The industry will see significant change as investors and regulators demand greater transparency, clarity and information which will benefit investors
globally."
Two of Fuhr's former colleagues,
Shane
Kelly and
Matthew Murray, are joining her at this new firm,
ETF Global Insight.
ETF Global Insight will publish research on the
exchange-traded fund industry. Fuhr and her colleagues will also offer customized research.
