Kanter Associates has added to fund firms to its client roster. Both
Averbury Asset Management, a London-based fixed income manager, and
Century Capital Management have tapped the public relations firm as part of an effort to increase their profiles.
Avebury became independent in 2000 when its senior managers led by
Michael Daley purchased the firm from Guinness Flight. Its primary business in the United States is in the pension market. Boston-based Century Capital manages nearly $400 million in two funds, including the Century Small Cap Select Fund. Its Century Shares Trust was launched in 1928.
Kanter already represents Waddell & Reed, Transamerica Premier Funds, Matthews Asian Funds, Investec Asset Management, Integrity Mutual Funds, Aquila Management, Forward Funds and the Mutual Fund Education Alliance.
