By the end of this week, Manning & Napier [see profile] could be joining the ranks of publicly traded asset managers. IPOScoop.com lists "11/18/11" as the date the shares are expected to trade.

For its part, RenaissanceCapital.com says that shares of Fairport, New York-based Manning & Napier are "expected to price during the week of November 14."

A Manning & Napier spokesperson declined to comment.

Last week, Manning & Napier amended its form S-1 filing with the SEC to include expected initial public offering pricing of $15 to $17 per share for 12.5 million shares.
