, a New York City-based branding and communications firm, has a new CEO. The company's president, Dan Ross
, became CEO effective today.
Ross' predecessor, company founder and mutual fund marketing pioneer Arnold Wechsler
, died on June 6 after a battle with lung cancer.

In 1994, Ross became a principal of what was then known as Wechsler & Partners. He began working with the company as an independent writer and brand consultant four years earlier. Ross became president in 1997 when the firm was rebranded Wechsler Ross & Partners.
His pre-Wechsler career spanned the areas of journalism, publishing, branding and language simplication.
