Founder and President Craig Callahan Returns to Fund Management

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO--(December 1, 2010) - ICON Advisers, Inc., adviser to the ICON Funds, today announced that Founder and President Dr. Craig Callahan will be returning to active management of two ICON funds.

Dr. Callahan currently serves as chairman of the investment committee and company president, founder, and investment system architect. Effective January 3, 2011, he will also be taking over portfolio management of the ICON Core Equity and Long/Short funds.

"I am pleased to be returning to the active management of two key ICON funds," said Craig Callahan. "This is an exciting time for ICON to focus on growth opportunities and I am looking forward to re-joining the day-to-day operations of the funds."
