This week will mark the formal launch of the
Boston Financial Services Leadership Council, which brings together executives from firms such as
Fidelity Investments,
Putnam Investments,
John Hancock,
Natixis and
State Street. Natixis CEO
John Hailer is co-chairman of the group.
"It's part of getting back to the whole idea of corporate responsibility," Hailer told
The Boston Herald.
The group will voice its interests on Beacon Hill, come out with policy papers and forge partnerships regionally, nationally and globally, according to the article.
"At the end of the day, I'm a Boston guy. It's a great place to live and work, and we want to improve it," Hailer said.
