San Francisco-based HighMark Funds is planning on keep on expanding. The mutual fund firm is has both international and global mutual funds in the works, according to a published report. It is also seeking a subadvisor for the planned funds.

The plans were shared by Greg Knopf with Financial Planning magazine.

Knopf is retiring from the firm and HighMark announced the hiring of Kevin Rowell as his replacement on Wednesday.
