Denver-based Transamerica launched a new subadvised fund yesterday. Wellington Management will handle the day-to-day management of the Transamerica WMC Diversified Growth Fund, which invests in a diversified portfolio of 60 to 90 growth stocks and seeks to outperform the Russell 1000 Growth Index.

Just yesterday, the MFWire reported that Boston-based Wellington had been selected as the subadvisor for the newest offering from John Hancock Funds .

Transamerica Capital, Inc. is the distributor for the fund. Transamerica Fund Services, Inc. serves as the fund's transfer agent. PricewaterhouseCoopers is the fund's independent certified public accountant.
