PricewaterhouseCoopers has named William Perkins to head up its investment management industry for the Northeast. He has served for twenty years in the firm's practice in that region.

Perkins will report to Lloyd Voneiff, who heads up the investment management group. "Bill Perkins has spent more than 20 years serving the mutual fund industry," stated Voneiff. "His appointment reinforces PricewaterhouseCoopers's commitment to New England's strong investment management sector. Our clients and PricewaterhouseCoopers itself will benefit from his expertise and the depth of experience he brings."

The executive will work out of the firm's Boston office. The unit provides auditing, accounting, business advisory, tax and consulting services for mutual funds.
