INVESCO Funds Group has added to the distribution of its funds through a new agreement with Principal Life. Four of Invesco's funds will be sold through the PrinFlex Life and the Principal Variable Annuity products.

The four funds are: INVESCO VIF-Dynamics, INVESCO VIF-Small Company Growth, INVESCO VIF-Technology and INVESCO VIF-Health Sciences.

Tom Kolbe, vice president and manager of Institutional Sales for INVESCO Funds Group explained that the partnership "offers new growth opportunities" for the firm.

INVESCO officials also said that has dedicated an institutional sales team to pursue the variable annuity business. The team is tasked with servicing existing partners and creating new relationships in the sub-advisory and insurance trust arena, according to a prepared statement.
