Ivy Mackenzie Investment Management has announced two personnel moves. In the first,
E. Lance Vetter was named executive
vice president of marketing. He will be responsible for all marketing initiatives, including strategic planning, communications, product management, Internet and market development.
The hiring of Vetter is the latest in a series of personnel moves by Ivy Mackenzie. "Basically, we're building a much larger team," says Vetter. "Mackenzie is the Fidelity or the Schwab of Canada, and they're trying to make the same impression in the U.S."
Prior to joining Ivy Mackenzie, Vetter was a marketing director for the Travelers Portfolio Group, a division of Citigroup. His position is newly created, and he will be reporting directly to Keith Carlson, the president of Ivy Mackenzie.
In addition, three executives were promoted to regional vice presidents of sales:
Thomas Caughran for the Southwest,
Keith Schwartz for the Southeast, and
Bernard Wolocko for the Midwest.
