New York- based
Lord, Abbett & Co. has hired
Milton Ezrati,
the former senior vice president and head of investing in the Americas for
Nomura Asset Management as its senior economic strategist, the company announced today.
Ezrati had helped direct strategies for Nomura's equity and fixed-income teams in the US. He had also served on the global asset allocation team and co-managed all US equity client relationships.
Prior to joining Nomura, Ezrati was director of research, chief strategist and chief economist at
Manufacturers Hanover, where he chaired the firm's stock selection team, supervised securities and credit analysts and performed marketing and client relations duties for institutional, high net worth and trust clients.
