Liberty Funds Distributor Inc., the distribution arm of the $61.4 million, 84 fund
Liberty Funds Group has hired Boston's
CGN Marketing & Creative Services to develop its brand campaign, demand creation, web marketing programs, and site development and maintenance, the Boston-based company said today.
Liberty Funds Distributor offers mutual fund distribution services to Colonial Management Associates, Crabbe Huson Group, Inc., Stein Roe & Farnham Incorporated, Newport Fund Management, Inc. and Liberty Asset Management Co. The distribution arm of Liberty also provides sales and marketing support for fixed, indexed and variable annuities issued and distributed by Keyport Life Insurance Co. and affiliated insurance companies.
Phil Fragasso who was recently appointed managing director, marketing for Liberty Funds Distributor said, "CGN will assist in branding and re-launching the website," adding that previously Liberty had used a variety of marketing firms, and that this would be the first time the company had utilized only one.
Fragasso would not elaborate on the specifics of the plan but did say that the company is looking forward to CGN supporting its sales efforts and assisting in relationship building.
