Acadian Asset Management has hired Patrick O'Hearn who started work on November 15 as senior vice president of the marketing and client service team.

He will be responsible for marketing the company's global equity services to institutional investors in Canada and the U.S.

O'Hearn was formerly marketing manager for PanAgora Asset Management in Boston, where he worked with Canadian and Midwestern U.S. institutions.

Churchill Franklin, executive vice president and director of marketing for Acadian will be directly overseeing O'Hearn.

Acadian sub-advises two mutual funds and has one of its own, packaged with its name. Churchill told the MFWire.com that the company is focusing on its sub-advisory business.
