DLJdirect Inc. (
DIR), the online brokerage service of
Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. (
DLJ)is introducing the first two equity funds in a new family of no-load mutual funds that will be available through DLJdirect.
The two new funds, which will be actively managed, are the
DLJdirect Strategic Growth Fund and the
DLJdirect Choice Technology Fund.
DLJ Investment Management Corp. will be the the adviser for the funds.
The DLJdirect Strategic Growth Fund will invest in equity securities of a limited number of large, carefully selected companies that DLJIM believes are likely to achieve growth.
The DLJdirect Choice Technology Fund will invest in the stocks of companies from a broad number of industries that comprise the U.S. domestic technology sector.
Hugh M. Neuburger, managing director and director of quantitative analysis for DLJIM, is the primary portfolio manager of both funds.
