Customers of
T. Rowe Price with an
Asset Manager Account can now purchase any of the company's 1,000 mutual funds online, the company said today.
The new site also offers fund information through a product called
Gateway Fund Search. This allows investors to research, purchase, redeem and exchange shares in all of the funds available through the program's
Mutual
Fund Gateway supermarket, which includes no-load funds from T. Rowe Price and 80 other fund companies such as Fidelity, Vanguard, Janus and Scudder.
Most funds are available without transaction fees -- others
can be purchased, sold, or exchanged for a flat rate of $35 per transaction.

James S. Riepe. "And with Gateway Fund Search, they now have the tools to make more informed decisions on the wide range of mutual fund choices available through the program."
