Voyageur Asset Management will enter the new year with a new name. As of December 31st, the investment and fund company will be known as
RBC Global Asset Management.
The Minneapolis company has been owned by the
Royal Bank of Canada since 2001. The rebranding comes as RBC cements the union between Voyageur and two other money managers,
Phillips, and
Hager and North Investment Management, both based in Canada.
RBC Global Asset Management will have combined AUM of over $170 billion, placing it in the top 50 of worldwide asset managers.
