After taking a five-year breather to work in academia,
Greg Francfort is back at
Neuberger Berman. Francfort, 51,

Francfort is quite a familiar face at Neuberger, having spent 13 years there. He served as director of research from 1991 to 1993 and later, joined the Straus Group and served as a portfolio manager until his retirement in 2004. The Straus Group is the largest of Neuberger's 30 portfolio management teams. Francfort then became an adjunct professor at Columbia University, where he taught security analysis, and managed private assets.
"I'm delighted to rejoin my former colleagues at Neuberger Berman, which this year has returned to its 70-year-old roots as an independent, employee-controlled investment manager," Francfort said in a news release.
