Some fund firms have to worry about regulators besides the SEC. The
Wall Street Journal's Carolyn Cui
reports that
Deustche Bank is shifting the allocations in the
PowerShares DB Commodity Index Tracking Fund and the
PowerShares DB Agriculture Fund thanks to concentration concerns from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The two funds boast about $5.5 billion in total assets.
The shift entails reductions in the funds' holdings of corn, crude oil, sugar and wheat, along with increases in cocoa, coffee, copper, gasoline, live cattle and natural gas.
