Executive Vice President and Head of Intermediary Distribution, Global Marketing and Product,
Robin Beery's role at Janus grew this summer, with interim CEO Tim Armour putting her in charge of
intermediary distribution in addition to serving as the Denver fund firm's chief marketer. A 15-year Janus veteran,
Beery takes over leadership of the intermediary distribution business from Dominic Martellaro, who left the company. She now oversees products distributed through financial advisors, insurers and retirement platforms. Beery's promotion comes
as Janus is plotting its course after CEO Gary Black's departure in July.
Beery, who joined Janus in August 1994, is part of the firm's executive committee and serves as president
of the Janus Funds. She also sits on the boards of Janus subsidiaries Intech and Perkins Investment
Since 2003, Beery has served as Janus' chief marketing officer. She has led
efforts to rebuild the firm's brand in the wake of the market timing scandal that erupted in the
fall of 2003.
Before joining Janus, Beery worked in the distribution organizations at Kemper Financial and American Century.
