column, Michael Aneiro highlights the fact that the average junk muni fund is down 25.7 year-to-date, despite low default rates. The OppenheimerFunds Rochester National Muni Fund
in particular gets some negative ink for YTD losses of 49 percent, following losses of 10.3 percent in 2007 and three years of returns higher than 10 percent.
