PNC Promotes Wolcott

Fund servicer PNC Global Investment Servicing has tapped Nancy Wolcott as its new president. The firm, which rebranded from PFPC in July, announced Wolcott's promotion Wednesday morning.

Wolcott will report to CEO Stephen M. Wynne. In her new role she will be responsible for the investor services and relationship management groups.

In an interview, Wolcott said PNC plans to bolster its transaction processing capabilities and launch business intelligence and information services.

Wolcott joined the bank's fund servicing business in 2000 and has been with PNC since 1996. Before the promotion she was chief operating officer and executive vice president.

PNC GLOBAL INVESTMENT SERVICING NAMES NANCY B. WOLCOTT PRESIDENT

WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 3, 2008 – PNC Global Investment Servicing announced today that Nancy B. Wolcott has been named president. Wolcott will report to Stephen M. Wynne, chief executive officer.

Wolcott most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Global Investment Servicing, and will remain responsible for the investor services and relationship management groups. She directs the transfer agency, subaccounting, banking transaction services, and print mail business lines, as well as relationship management for Global Investment Servicing’s largest clients.

“Nancy’s vast knowledge of the investment industry and astute application of our organization’s capabilities to satisfy the needs of our clients has been the catalyst for much of our success,” said Stephen M. Wynne. “As president, she will help guide the future progress of Global Investment Servicing, as we enhance our transaction processing capabilities and launch new and unique business intelligence and information services that span the investment continuum.”

Wolcott joined PNC in 1996, serving as executive vice president with PNC Advisors before coming to Global Investment Servicing in 2000. Prior to PNC, she was with HarrisBank/Bank of Montreal as head of corporate and institutional trust.

Wolcott holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Wellesley College and a master of business administration degree from the University of Chicago. She is a member of the PNC Global Investment Servicing Operating Committee, a member of the board of directors of PNC Global Investment Servicing Inc., a director of PFPC Trust Company and a member of the board of PNC International Bank Ltd. Wolcott also serves as co-chair of PNC’s Management Committee and is a member of PNC’s Operating Committee.
