John Templeton continues to win recognition for his work even after his death. On Monday the
President George Bush named the
John Templeton Foundation as a winner of a National Humanities Medal for 2008. The awards were given at a ceremony in the White House East Room. The medal is provided in recognition of scholarship, literary works, philanthropy and preservation efforts. The Templeton Foundation provides research grants at universities in a broad range of areas.
