Templeton Charity Wins White House Recognition

John Templeton continues to win recognition for his work even after his death. On Monday the President George Bush named the John Templeton Foundation as a winner of a National Humanities Medal for 2008. The awards were given at a ceremony in the White House East Room. The medal is provided in recognition of scholarship, literary works, philanthropy and preservation efforts. The Templeton Foundation provides research grants at universities in a broad range of areas.
