Assets in most money funds continue to rebound this week. According the
Crane Data, money funds added $1.5 billion on Monday, $26.2 billion on Tuesday and $19.64 billion on Wednesday. Assets gathered by the funds year-to-date are still up by $178 billion, or 8.1 percent. News for money funds of the same type as the
Reserve fund that broke the buck is less encouraging. Prime money funds lost 16.7 percent of their assets last week and another 10.8 percent so far this week.
