Five fund managers looked back on the first six months of the year and spoke with The Wall Street Journal's Diya Gullapalli on where they went wrong. The article formed part of the WSJ's Investing in Funds monthly section.

The managers included William Fries, co-manager of Thornburg International Value, Cory Gilchrist, who runs Marsico 21st Century, Dan Fuss, co-manager of Loomis Sayles Strategic Income, John Calamos, co-manager of Calamos Global Growth and Income and Tom O'Halloran, manager of the Lord Abbett Developing Growth Fund.
