The Star Tribune
hometown paper, offers more details on the Ameriprise's workforce, post-Seligman deal. Reporter Kara McGuire
says that as a result of the deal, the number of wholesalers at Ameriprise will increase from 22 to 36. McGuire also mentions that Seligman's distribution experience in the wholesaling channel could help Ameriprise with its new initiative of distributing RiverSource and Threadneedle products outside of its captive audience.
Tuesday's WSJ FundTrack
also covers Monday's Seligman deal. The pub didn't offer further details beyond what had been previously reported.
