Mark Spina, formerly senior vice president and head of business development at ING Group has taken over for
Dave Bullock at
ING Funds Distributor. Bullock who was president and CEO of the ING Fund's sales arm, recently left the company, according to an industry source.
A spokeswoman for ING confirmed the changes and said Spina would move into his new role on January 31.
ING had not issued a formal press release on Spina's new role.
Bullock was hired by ING from Old Mutual in December of 2006. At that time he replaced
Bob Boulware.
At Old Mutual, he was part of
Scott Powers' clean-up crew for
Pilgrim Baxter after the founders
Gary Pilgrim and
Harold Baxter resigned amid allegations they market-timed their funds.
Earlier in his career, Bullock was chief executive officer of Transamerica Capital, a subsidiary of AEGON USA.
