Rule proposals to improve mutual fund disclosure will be on the table at an SEC meeting slated for November 15, commission officials
announced yesterday.
The proposals aim to boost disclosure by providing investors with a summary prospectus containing "key information in plain English in a clear and concise format, and by enhancing the availability on the Internet of more detailed information to investors."
Among other items on its agenda, the commission will also consider whether to propose related changes to Form N-1A.
