Next week the Supreme Court will hear a case that could end the preferential tax treatment of municipal bonds.
Bloomberg's Greg Stohr and Jeremy R. Cooke report that, on November 5, the justices will listen to a case about whether or not Kentucky's taxes on out-of-state (but not in-state) bonds violates the Constitution. (Article I, Section 10 states that, "No state shall, without the consent of the Congress, lay any imports or duties on imports ...")
