The Boston Company Begins Re-Building After Munder Lift-out

Reported by Erin Kello

David Cameron has been promoted by The Boston Company Asset Management to the positions of chief executive officer and president, according to a press release.

Cameron most recently held the title of chief investment officer. The title of CEO currently belongs to Corey Griffin, who will relinquish it to Cameron in order to devote more time to client issues, the release claimed, but will stay on as chairman of the company.

Recently, Cameron took over portfolio management duties when Remi Browne and Daniel LeVan, formerly senior vice presidents and lead portfolio managers of The Boston Company’s international core and international small cap investment teams and their support staff, were lifted out by Munder Capital Management.

In addition to Cameron's promotion, John Truschel has also been promoted from director of portfolio strategy to chief investment officer, succeeding Cameron in that role. Truschel also assisted with portfolio management duties following Browne and LeVan's departures.
