Jobs in asset management is the topic tackled by today's
WSJ FundTrack, but those jobs aren't necessarily in traditional mutual funds. Josee Rose says that despite the mortgage meltdown, there is still high demand for fresh faces in the area of non-traditional investments (hedge funds, private equity, funds of funds, real estate and derivatives). Rose says that with all the new options for out there for investments, companies are looking for people whose understanding goes beyond vanilla stocks and bonds.
