Mutual fund companies may be getting a reprieve from activist calls that they divest from Darfur. Andrew Natsios, Bush’s envoy, is giving activist groups that are pushing mutual fund companies to divest from Darfur their marching papers.
The Boston Herald reports that Natsios said that the attacks may have been useful "eight to twelve months ago" but are hindering the delicate peace talks that are finally beginning in the region.
