Evelyn Sanciangco Dilsaver has stepped down from her position of president and CEO of Schwab Investment Management, The MFWire has learned.

A Schwab spokesperson told the MFWire that Dilsaver is "evaluating opportunities at other companies."

Schwab's Web site has been updated to reflect the personnel change. Randall W. Merk has taken over the role of president and CEO of Charles Schwab Investment Management, according to the site. He is also EVP of Investment Management Services.

Prior to succeeding Dilsaver, Merk served as president of Schwab Financial Products.

Dilsaver last appears in the context of Schwab in an SEC filing for the company on August 16.

According to Dilsaver's bio posted on the Web site of Long's Drugs, on whose board she serves as a member, she left Schwab this month.

Dilsaver also served on the executive committee of Schwab Corporation. There's no word yet on whether or not she's been replaced there.
