A survey from Schwab Institutional has found that investment advisors are ETFs' biggest champions. Barron's reports that the survey covering 1,400 advisers, found that 76 percent of them currently use ETFs in their client's portfolios. One in five of the 24 percent that do not yet use ETFs expected to begin doing so. There are two reasons for the high popularity: low cost, and well-defined asset-class division that fits nicely into portfolios.
