New York City-based Cohen & Steers, which specializes in REIT mutual funds, romped off with the Best Mutual Fund Website award at the WebAward Competition for the second year running. Entries are judged using seven criteria, including design, innovation, content and ease of use.

"Web sites are extremely important to company success in the investment industry because both individuals and companies crave the ability to track their money online. Being able to do so gives investors peace of mind," said William Rice, president of the Web Marketing Association, which stages the annual competition.
