Bisys chalked up a profit in its fiscal third quarter, owing to a gain stemming from the sale of its information services unit and lower litigation and regulatory settlement costs. The Roseland, New Jersey-based outsourcing solutions provider reported delayed results for the quarter on Wednesday.
Bisys said it earned $236.2 in net income for the period ended March 31. That compares to a net loss of $66.4 million in the year-ago period.
The company booked a $203.7 million gain from the sale of its Information Services Group to Open Solutions Inc.
Revenues, meanwhile, totaled $211.7 million, down from $212.4 million in the year-ago period.
Bisys officials expect full-year revenue to dip approximately 1 percent year-over-year. Officials also said the 10K filing will likely be delayed at least a month after the required filing date of September 13.
