BISYS Fund Services has tapped a new senior vice president to head its product development. Officials at the back-office firm said that
Paul Yelicanin will oversee the creation of new products for its core mutual fund outsourcing services.
Yelicanin, who reports to James Nolan, executive vice president of BISYS Fund Services, joins the firm from PFPC. He was vice president and managing director of Investor Services, responsible for global project management and business analysis, client desktop, internet and voice response technologies at PFPC, where he spent nine years.
Nolan said that BISYS has introduced a number of products in response to heightened fund regulatory and compliance mandates, technological advancements, and evolving client needs. He expects Yelicanin to support that momentum and help BISYS continue to augment its core mutual fund outsourcing services.
"With his proven track record of introducing and implementing a number of key product innovations throughout his extensive industry experience, Paul is uniquely qualified to lead our domestic and international product initiatives," said Nolan.
Prior to joining PFPC, he was director of development and business analysis at Delaware Investments. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps before embarking on his financial services career.
