The SEC has named a temporary replacement for Susan Ferris Wyderko, who left the Commission earlier this month to become executive director of the Independent Mutual Fund Directors Forum.

Chairman Christopher Cox has named Lori Schock as acting head of the Commission's Office of Investor Education and Assistance. Schock has been with this SEC agency since 2001, serving as staff attorney and later special counsel to the director.
