Scout Investment Advisors has rechristened itself Scout Investments [see profile]. The change took place at the end of last year, said Andy Iseman, CEO of the Kansas City, Missouri-based asset manager in an interview with The MFWire.com.

"We felt that the Scout Investments name is more represenative of the business we are in as an institutional asset management firm," Iseman said.

Meanwhile, as reported by The MFWire.com yesterday, Scout is acquiring two mutual funds from Frontegra Asset Management.
