ICR Media of Pennsylvania has conducted a survey of participants in 401(k) plans. The organization has found that while participants understand the basic fundamentals of their plans. Nonetheless, the steps they are taking are not bringing them closer to their goals. For instance, many respondents expressed a desire to retire early, but according to the study, many will not be able to achieve that goal with any financial stability.
