The Independent Directors Council, the group within the ICI for fund directors, is planning on issuing a report next week to provide guidance for annual board self-reviews, reports the Wall Street Journal .

Peter Meenan, chair of the IDC group that produced the report, said the report is to give boards with little to no experience conducting reviews some guidance.

"We're trying to identify practical considerations and suggestions that boards might want to pursue as they begin the undertaking," Meenan told the WSJ.
