Eric Colson, manager of Callan Associates' institutional consulting group, will leave the San Francisco-based consultancy to join Artisan Partners, reports Pensions & Investments.

Colson will join the San Francisco fund firm as a managing director and be responsible for the firm's institutional business.

Sue Crotty, senior vice president for Callan's institutional consulting group, will take over for Colson.
