The folks at a 51-year-old, focused large-cap growth fund firm in Gotham are flagging a cybersecurity event.

The Edgewood Management LLC [profile] team notified the Massachusetts' Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on November 19 of a data breach, where 24 Massachusetts residents were affected. Per the filing, financial accounts with the New York City-based asset manager were breached during the cybersecurity incident.

Alan Breed, president and portfolio manager of Edgewood Management LLC, did not immediately return a phone call for comment.

Edgewood Management's disclosure does not reveal the number of non-Massachusetts residents (if any) who were affected by this data breach.
