The folks at a Nutmeg State fund firm are preparing to more than double their
lineup of
covered call ETFs. Yet the new offerings, unlike the existing ones, will each focus on single stocks.

Today, the
Rex Shares [
profile] team
filed to launch four funds: the
REX COIN Covered Call ETF, the
REX MSTR Covered Call ETF, the
REX NVDA Covered Call ETF, and the
REX TSLA Covered Call ETF. They have no yet revealed portfolio managers or tickers for any of the planned ETFs, yet Fairfield, Connecticut-based Rex Advisers, LLC will serve as the funds' investment advisor, and Oklahoma City-based Exchange Traded Concepts, LLC (
ETC [
profile]) will serve as subadvisor.
All four planned ETFs are expected to debut sometime this year, but the filing provides no specific timing. The funds will each carry the same expense ratio: 99 basis points.
Like Rex Shares' three existing covered call ETFs, these new funds will combine an options-based, covered call strategy (for generating income) with investing in another asset (in this case, single growth stocks). The Rex TSLA ETF will track Tesla, Inc., the REX NVDA ETF will track Nvidia Corporation, the REX MSTR ETF will track MicroStrategy Incorporated, and the REX COIN ETF will track Coinbase GLobal, Inc.
All four planned ETFs will be actively managed, non-diversified series of the
REX ETF Trust and will primarily list on the
Cboe BZX Exchange, Inc.. The funds' other service providers will include:
Chapman and Cutler LLP as counsel;
Cohen & Company, Ltd. as independent accounting firm; ACA's
Foreside Fund Services, LLC as distributor; U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, LLC (dba
U.S. Bank Global Fund Services) as administrator, fund accountant, and transfer agent; and U.S. Bank National Association as custodian.
