The folks at
Franklin Templeton and
Matthews Asia may still be celebrating here in Manhattan after some big wins.
Those were two of the 42 winning firms (32 of them asset managers)
recognized earlier this week at the
2024 With Intelligence Mutual Fund and ETF Awards. The event was held at the Metropolitan Club in New York City, and awards were divided into several categories: asset manager sales, marketing and leadership awards; ETF awards; mutual fund performance awards; fund director awards; lifetime achievement awards; and rising star awards.
Matthews and Franklin led the asset manager pack with three awards each, including a "With Intelligence Lifetime Achievement" award for Putnam chief
Bob Reynolds. (Franklin bought Putnam earlier this year.) Matthews' awards recognized three "Rising Stars":
Kathlyn Collins,
Peeyush Mittal, and
Vivek Tanneeru.
