A Boston area boutique, a Midwestern ETF-in-a-box shop, and a Cayman Islands alts shop are teaming up on a fourth ETF together, and prepping a fifth.

Last week, the folks at
Newfound Research LLC,
Tidal Investments LLC [
profile], and
ReSolve Asset Management SEZC (Cayman) rolled out the
Return Stacked U.S. Stocks & Futures Yield ETF (RSSY on the
Cboe BZX Exchange, Inc.), and they also filed to launch the
Return Stacked Bonds & Futures Yield ETF (RSBY). RSSY is a series of
Tidal Trust II, and RSBY will be, too.
RSSY's inception date was last Tuesday, May 28, and by Friday, May 31, it had $102.26 million in AUM, according to the Return Stacked ETFs website. By comparison, the prior three Return Stacked ETFs had $302.71 million in combined AUM as of May 31. (They are:
RSBT, launched in February 2023, now with $62.85 million in AUM;
RSST,
launched in September 2023, now with $144.95 million in AUM; and
RSSB,
launched in December 2023, now with $94.91 million in AUM).
RSBY will come with an expense ratio of 100 basis points. RSSY comes with an expense ratio of 104bps.
Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Tidal Investments will serve as investment advisor to both RSSY and RSBY. Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts-based Newfound will serve as sponsor and investment advisor to both new ETFs. And Georgetown, Grand Cayman-based ReSolve will serve as sponsor and futures trading advisor to both ETFs.

Steven Braun, senior quantitative analyst and chief derivatives officer at Newfound;
Adam Butler, chief investment officer and portfolio manager at ReSolve;
Qiao Duan, PM at Tidal;
