No stranger to the role of vice president is Jennifer Barron, who has made the move from heading territory sales in southeastern Texas and Louisiana at American Century Investments (ACI) to VP at Eaton Vance, MFWire has learned.

A spokesperson for American Century did not immediately respond to comment.

Barron started at Eaton Vance late last month. She now reports to Brian LeFevre, VP of Eaton Vance Distributors and regional sales director on the independent/financial institutions sales team. Barron's position was formerly held by Anthony M. Zanetti, who moved on to work as a branch manager and financial advisor at Ameriprise Financial Services.

"Jennifer is the best fit for this position because she is a well-tenured and experienced wholesaler," LeFevre told MFWire. "She is highly regarded in the field and several senior leaders at Eaton Vance agree that, based on our interviews with her, she is a good fit for the Houston-based territory."

Barron spent more than 14 years with American Century on the financial professional sales team. Prior to her time at American Century, Barron worked for 10 years at AIM Distributors, Inc. as regional VP, project analyst, regional marketing specialist, and client services representative. She received a bachelor of business administration in finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
